Community Meals
Throughout the year, GBM holds community meals to bring to the table people interested in GBM and the topics being discussed. Food is provided and discussions focus on ways of working together. If you are interested in learning more about GBM, please plan to attend a Community Breakfast here at GBM from 7:45 to 9:00 AM on one of the following dates:
- Tuesday, April 13
- Friday, July 16
Community Luncheons at GBM focus on specific topics. They are from 11:45 to 1:00 and are open to the public. Food is provided. The ones currently planned for 2010 are:
- Thursday, January 28 — Homelessness and Public Transportation
- Wednesday, March 17 — the Women as Strength Program and GBM's Community Garden
- Wednesday, April 21 — The State of Human Rights in Alabama
- Tuesday, June 16 — Time Banking
- Wednesday, September 14 — School Inequities
- Tuesday, December 14 — Utility Costs
